Annual Contract Renewal Advisory
I help finance and operations teams reduce the cost of their BILL contracts — with years of dedicated experience negotiating BILL renewals and a deep understanding of how BILL pricing actually works.
Hundreds of renewal cycles across a wide range of contract sizes, payment profiles, and industries
Scales with your BILL contract size and is credited in full against your contingency fee
Serving SMBs and mid-market companies across the United States
What I Do
Every engagement begins with a thorough review of your current BILL contract. From there, I develop a negotiation strategy tailored to your specific usage profile, contract size, and renewal timeline.
I review your current BILL contract terms, per-user pricing, per-transaction fees, and renewal schedule to identify where you stand relative to what's actually achievable with BILL.
I develop your negotiation strategy, prepare your recommended positions, and advise you through every stage of the BILL renewal conversation — from opening the dialogue to executing the final agreement. I can lead all contract negotiations directly on your behalf.
I review and redline BILL's proposed renewal language to secure forward-looking protections — including annual price increase caps — so your savings extend well beyond the current contract year.
Key differentiator
For clients with significant ACH, check, or international payment volumes processed through BILL, I evaluate whether your transaction profile creates leverage for per-transaction fee restructuring.
For returning clients, a pre-renewal readiness review is included at no charge — benchmarking your current BILL pricing, reviewing mid-term changes, and delivering a written negotiation brief 60 days before your renewal opens.

Transparent Pricing
My fee structure is built around one principle: I should only be paid well when you save significantly on your BILL contract. No hidden fees, no ambiguous billing, no ongoing retainers.
Minimum BILL contract value $10,000. Exceptions considered for high transaction volume clients.
Example: a $40,000 BILL contract carries a $1,000 engagement fee, credited against any contingency.
Where a price escalation cap was secured in a prior engagement, the 20% rate applies automatically to subsequent cycles.
What counts as documented savings: Annualized reduction in total contract value against BILL's proposed contract, including a full users review of permissions, roles, and activity. Also includes annualized reduction in BILL per-user or per-seat fees, negotiated reductions in BILL transaction fees (ACH, check, and international payments — where applicable by volume), contractual price escalation caps, added BILL modules or features secured at no additional cost, and billing cadence improvements. All savings are calculated transparently and presented in a written summary before any contingency fee is invoiced.
Returning client note: Where a price escalation cap secured in a prior engagement remains in effect, documented savings in that cycle are calculated against BILL's actual renewal quote — not a projected uncapped rate. You are only charged for savings achieved above and beyond the baseline already locked in for you.
How It Works
The engagement process is designed to be straightforward and low-burden for your team. Most clients spend fewer than three hours of internal time across the entire engagement.
